Unser Alt-Bamberg Urstoff ist ein aromatisches Vollbier mit süffigem Geschmack, im Gaumen einzigartig rund und harmonisch im Nachtrunk. Es wird traditionell unter Verwendung von Caramelmalzen eingebraut und untergärig langsam vergoren. Seine hellgoldene Farbe und der würzig-frische Geruch nach Gerstenmalz versprechen ein besonderes Geschmackserlebnis. Das klassische, fränkische Bier schmeckt praktisch zu jeder Gelegenheit.

Bottle:Golden to deep golden, smaller lacy white head, sweetish caramelly-toasty nose, traces of vegetables and metal underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite soft, but also quite light bodied for a beer of 5.5%;sweetish and metallic finish. Not so good…

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty, strawy malty aroma with shades of hops in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Plain strawy malt-character with traces of cara-malt; bitter and slightly sweet finish with notes of metal. 02.V.12

50cl bottle, BBE 05/2012. Poured clear golden with a lasting white head, nice lacing. Aroma is buttery and grainy. Flavor very similar, slightly sweet. Very easy to drink, quite tasty.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, almond malty, sharp, earthy ! light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sharp, malty, grainy. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20111122]

Bottled (thanks Timo A). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity and quite grainy with some earthy notes. Flavour is fruity, bready and mild grainy bitter notes.
