Clear gold with a frothy head that soon disappears. Aroma a mix of metal, dust, and honey. Taste is mildly sweet up front with a long, lingering metallic bitter finish. Light bodied, not watery though. There’s a residual smooth chewiness that’s probably the highlight here. Otherwise, pretty lame.

0,5L bottle. Golden colour with minimal head that lasts. Floral,malt and alcohol aroma. Malty taste with overrall sweetness.Weird bitter and alcohol aftertaste. Meh

Gemischtporige, mäßig stabile Schaumkrone, in der Nase kernig-malzig und etwas derber kräutriger Hopfen, im Geschmack zunächst malzig, süßlich und leicht honigartig, im Nachtrunk trockener mit präsenter Hopfenbittere. Insgesamt einfach, aber solide.

Bottle from Meibier. Aroma is grainy malt with straw and some noble hops in the finish. Light sweet and bitter flavour, medium body. Pretty standard but decent Helles.

clear golden colour, moderate sized dense white head; aroma and taste of hay, grassy, grainy and some metallic, as well as buttery (in the taste) notes; drinkable

Bottle. Clear dark gold with an ok but very short-lived white head. Aroma of malts, minerals and grains. Taste of malts, bread, grains, honey and metal. This is sweet, metallic and earthy. Moderate grainy bitterness. Medium carbonation. Probably not Bamberg‘s finest.

0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Clear golden more than one finger white head. Nothing wrong with it. Grassy grainy aroma, some caramel. Taste is more on the grainy caramel side, hints of metallic elements. Mid bitterness, below average carbonated. Okay.

Bottle shared on the train during the Bamberg Post Christmas Jolly - January 2014. Pours clear, pale yellow with a small, white foam head. Bland, some cereal, modest sweetness, light bitter straw. Light in body with average carbonation. Sweet finish, nips of paper. So so overall.

Flaska från Craftbeershop. Klar gyllengul vätska med lågt vitt skum. Doft avvisad, honung, bröd. Medelstor kropp, medeltorr, fruktig sötma, lätt beska. Drickvänlig sydtysk heller. Trevlig

In der Nase maischig, im Trunk malzig, Getreide, erst leicht bitter, hinten süß, schon okay.
