A sweet milk stout with the addition of smoked malt to bring the fire and provide some balance and complexity to the sweet marshmallow.

On tap keg at the Tip Inn, Loscoe, in the company of Dad and Pauline, Sunday 8th June 2025. Pours black with a beige head, this is bang on for a milk stout, okay it's not a preferred style of mine but it's a good example. Sweet, a little lactose light, very light roast, decent.

[October 2022] Near black with a frothy tan head. Lovely milk chocolate aroma, hints of dark fruit. Smooth as silk, creamy with just a hint of roasted malt and sweet, fruity chocolate notes

Creamy tan head stayed on a still black body. Malt, metallic & pine aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingle on the cloying back. Malt, marshmallow, coffee & herbal tastes with a lightly hopped tangy finish. Standard

Cask at Smithfield, Derby Pours completely black with a small tan head. Aroma is vaguely butty, but in the mouth fruits predominate. Blackberries to the fore, but also plums and a hint of vanilla. Finish is fruity. Nice, but not wildly exciting.
