Bottle @ Bamberg Outskirts. Pours amber copper with a small head. Bready malty and grassy. Toasted and dry hoppy finish.

0,5 l bottle. A clear pale copper in the glass, with a nearly two finger frothy head. Smells malty grainy. Taste ist more grainy than malty, low fruitieness in the background, some nuts. Mid hop bitterness, spicy. Okay.

Hofmann Weihnachtsfestbier, Flasche (MHD: 08.04.22) von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Kupfergold, blank. - In der Nase etwas harte toastige Malzigkeit, nussig, feine hopfenwürzige Herbe, zart seifig bzw. ranzig. - Antrunk kernig gerstig-toastmalzig mit feiner karamelliger Süße, etwas Butter und hintergründiger orangenfruchtig-hopfenwürziger Herbe. Leichte ranzig-muffige Noten (alte Socken) gehen in derbe Bittere über. Durchschnittlich rezent, hart im Mund. Unschöner Nachtrunk. - Könnte ein solides fränkisches Festbier sein, wären da nicht störende ranzige Züge. Das harte, mineralreiche Brauwasser, von dem die Brauerei spricht, betont zwar den gerstig-untergärigen Charakter, unterstreicht leider aber auch diese Fehlaromen. (19.12.2021.)

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Golden color. Bready grassy almost herbal aroma and flavor. Malty, medium to full bodied. Hint of butter. Well balanced malty festbier.

Pours a deeo golden color.. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, peach, nutty, some toffee. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, peach.

The beer starts malty, slightly sweet. A bit roasted-bitter, bit has hints of sweet Blockmalz. The aftertaste is long, malty-sweetish with hints of grain.
Nice darker Festbier. Decent and highly drinkable! --> 10/12/10/10

Goldgelbe Farbe, geringe Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, süß, leicht getreidig. Geschmack leicht malzig süß, würzig.

Heller, etwas süßer Beginn. Dieser Eindruck festigt sich, das Bier bleibt auf süß-süffigem Niveau. Geringe Herbe, malzig-süß. Trinkbers, ziemlich unscheinbares Bier. 6/8/9/9/8/9

Bottle 500ml.Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, sweet malt, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110218]

cloudy yellow , smooth white head. flavor is quite dry , dry and sweet malty, dry hoppy, faint flowery hoppy.pretty nice flavor. aroma is flowery, dry hoppy. mild.
