Bottle shared by Cuso, many thanks. Aroma strong caramel, dark honey, raisin. sweet . Clear brown colour. Taste really sweet caramel, not too much flavour. Nuts. Quite single-dimensional and straightforward. Finish is warm caramel alcohol. Simple, strong, but no objections. 7 3 6 3 11
Rerate. Bottle. Aroma lightly malty, very mild. Clear dark brown colour. Taste is empty, ambiguous sweetness, otherwise no flavour. Finish nonexistent, light body.

50cl Bottle from a kiosk in Friedrichshain, Berlin. Clear deep amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of toffee, light fudge, light toast and a little fruity. Flavour is sweet, toffee, light bitter, light floral, but as with their Original Festbier also quite a nasty metallic finish. Medium-bodied.

Brown colour. The aroma is toasty and bready. Sweet, mixing sugar and nutty accents. Smooth and sweet, with toasty notes towards the finish.

Bottle courtesy of Ekstedt shared @ Ekstedts bock-tasting. Pours mahogany with a small off-white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet, tiny sour and malty with dark bread, caraway, orange peal and plums. Taste is sweet with bread, wood, golden syrup, prunes, raisins and nuts. Mouthfeel is round and medium bodied. Finish sweet and slightly bitter with bread and orange zest.
