Our new friends from St. Louis came over to brew a beer that combines both our methods for brewing big, bitter and resinous IPAs. Hopped with Columbus, Centennial and UK Chinook. Here's to new friends and beer flavoured beer.

Can from The Hive, Crowthorne. Aroma is resinous, with grains. Hints of citrus. Opaque light amber. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Heavy bitter. Resin with a bitter citrus edge. Marmalade (it's a West Coast IPA so obvs I'm going to chuck that preserve in). Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Chewy stuff. Not bad. Love you, Unniittttyyyy.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Moderately sweet, rich and malty, some caramel, ripening citrus, gooey pine, melon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation resinous finish, lightly toasted malts, touches of toffee, orange rind. Solid, old-school stuff.
