Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Dieses Bier hält sich laut aufgedrucktem MHD volle sechs Monate - ist das überhaupt noch ein Zwickel? Ohne Pasteurisierung oder Mikrofiltrierung ist ein solches MHD doch gar nicht möglich ... - Sattes Gelb, schön trüb; Hefesatz in der Flasche. - Die Nase bietet ein zwiespältiges Erlebnis: leicht fruchtig-herber Hopfen, aber auch unangenehm ranzig-käsige Aromen. - Im Antrunk setzt sich das fort: zitronig-herbe Hopfennoten reiben sich mit ranzigen, schweißfüßigen Fehlaromen. Sehr blasses helles Malz. Dünn, wäßrig. Auch im Abgang starke Käsefußnote; leicht bitterer Nachtrunk. - Fazit: eher unerfreuliches Billigbier; mit minderwertigem Hopfen aufgepeppt, weit entfernt von der Aromenfülle und Kraft eines echten Zwickels.

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Yeasty, pale malty aroma with hints of citrus and mildly herbal hops. Slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty pale malt character with subtle fruity notes and a whiff of herbal hops; moderately dry and mildly bitter hoppy finish. 09.IV.13

Bouteille: Pale golden, hazy, small and stable and lacy white head, grainy-dusty nose with a barnyardy touch; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied and pretty soft; short tart bitter-grainy finish. Not exciting, just a pleasant GDR thirst-quencher…

Bottle looks like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Start mild, fine yeasty-malty, fruity hints of berries. Mild finish, well balanced. A good one!

Bottle. Hazy lemon with a solid frothy head. Aroma is yeast and malt. Flavour is sweet malt with some dusty hop. Finish is a bit chemical.

bottle from Konsum DD-Neustädter Markthalle. Hazy pale yellow with a mid-sized foamy white head. Yeasty-malty nose. Light-bodied, rather sweet malt flavours with a shy touch of hops in the finish.
