(Bottle, 26 Aug 2023) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, dark bread, liquorice and orange peel. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, dark chocolate, coffee, cacao, liquorice, nuts, orange peel and a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and well balanced porter. Nice one.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Coppery brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is nutty, some grainy and mild chocolaty tones with some ashes. Flavour is nutty, chocolaty, grainy and some mild herbal tones followed by late ashes kicking in. A bit thin as for the palate, but otherways quite a nice one.

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Dark brown, small beige head. Aroma of tobacco, leather and licorice. Mid dry with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Licorice and dark chocolate. Mid bitter finish.
