Born from Mackinaw; our award winning American brown ale; comes its little brother, a session strength English hopped American brown ale. Loaded with experimental hop variety CF-182 (aka Opus) grown by Simon Parker of Instone Court Farm in Bishops Frome, Herefordshire. This is our Mack Opus.

--Canned. -- Clear copper colour, mid sized head. Fruity, piney nose. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with some ash. Mid bitter finish.

330ml. can as part of the Advent Calendar, day 4. @home, 08/12/2022 [#5.709 Global - #567 England - #2 Round Corner Brewing] Pours brown with a lasting tan head. Good lacing. Aroma: chocolate, toffee and toasted almonds. Taste: toffee malts and milk chocolate. Caramelly mouthfeel. Balanced brown. Next one please!

Day 4 / SB advent calendar - New 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 brewery ✅ toasted and light roasted malty, notes of toffee and caramel, hoppy undertones, dark bready malts, malty lingering close. Decent brown.

Can from Beer Hawk Advent Calendar, three days late. Aroma combines vinous hops with citrus and caramel. Opaque treacle brown. Thick foamy off-white head. Medium bitter. Resin and coffee. Herbs and spice. Develops a citrus edge into the finish. Underlying hints of caramel. Light-medium bodied. Thin creamy mouthfeel. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable hoppy Brown.

Appearance: Brown colour with a tan head.
Aroma: Malt, caramel, some nuts.

330ml can from Saveur Bierre advent calendar - hazy brown body with a short white head. Nose is malty and citrus, taste is a bit watery and not too robust as they claimed, although it is quite pleasant.
