A west coast pale ale with a tropical twist!

High Wire Tropical balances bitter and smooth malt characters with all the juiciness of Cascade, Columbus, Centennial and Citra hops to deliver a lip-smacking, refreshing fruity hit of pineapple, passionfruit and guava.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Orange-amber colour and small white head and lace. Light peach and apricot in the nose. Light-bodied. Crisp, vinegum, apricot, peach. Easy.

Crystal clear golden beer, thick white frothy head. Smell has pineapple and grapefruit with some bitter hop. Flavour has pineapple, grapefruit, a little mango, grassy hop. after the initial flavour it just sort of... stops, and becomes a basic vaguely hoppy thing with a bit of lingering bitterness. Not sure I've ever had an IPA quite so front-loaded as this with quite so little in the back end. Not bad though.

440ml can: BB 1st March 2023. Drank at home on 18th April 2022. Golden body, white/off-white billowing head. Passionfruit and oranges in the nose and taste, other citrussy like fruits also get a look in from the hop content and their flavours. Nice tropical brew, nice hop and dry bitter bite in the finish.
