Bottle at home. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Nose is sweet notes of malts and booze with a smokey overtone that’s also seems sweet for some reason. Taste is rather sweet (borderline cloying tbh) with notes of booze and biscuits and bread. The smoke stays in the background unfortunately. Closes with sweet malty (and somewhat nutty) finish, has light to medium body and soft carbo. Not bad, but I would’ve loved more smoke and less sweetness.

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with small, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lasting, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, vinous fruity, smoky, dark malty and yeasty spicy aroma, notes of treacle, liquorice root, blue grapes, hints of speculoos, a touch of tar, plum and cinnamon. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally dry, smoky, slightly roasty, dark malty, minimally oaky, vinous fruity, notes of caramel, liquorice root, some treacle, cherry, blue grapes, tar, plum; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, soft, medium carbonation. Rich, intense, minimally un-integrated - very nice!

Tap. Hazy brown color with white head. Aroma is chocolate, cocoa, earthy. Taste is chocolate cocoa, earthy, mild smoke, roasty finish. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Nice one!
