To close of 2022 we release this big pop-up collab with our friends from Basqueland Brewing, the wonderful brewery from Pays-Basque. This Imperial Stout is made with a complex malt bill, waffles, strawberries, maple syrup & cane molasses, the best things you can find. Dark black, caramel & chocolate hit first, then there’s a fruity acidity before a strawberry jam sweetness. Like a blackhole, this beer takes you to a new dimension.

Dark brown to black beer, big solid bit irregular beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of ripe to overripe banana, banana milk shake, lactose, some vanilla, sweet impression. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: yuck, what’s this? Very bad, unpleasant bitter and chemical start, metallic, weird sourness, harsh roast, thick, cloying. Aftertaste: bitter, sourish, very weird, some coffee, unpleasant, don’t like it at all. Very disappointing birthday beer...

33cl can from Prik & Tik Dranken Marlou. F: big, tanned, good retention. C: black, opaque. A: dark malts, roasted tones, dark dried fruits, caramel, dark berries, chocolate, coffee touch, cocoa. T: full malty base, dark fruits, chocolate, cocoa, dark berries, light roasted tones, nice balanced harmonic bitterness, strawberries, caramel, more for Stout - Flavored / Pastry style and of course good one, fully enjoyed.
