Nøgne Ø Nordic Noir 2 is built around the wonderful chocolate malt from Norsk Malt at Ringsaker. With honey and juniper from Brekkestø and Kveik from Sigmund Gjernes in Voss, we have captured the taste of real Norwegian craftsmanship from raw materials to finished brew. Matured in Sherry barrels from Oloroso, Cortado and Ximenez.

330 ml bottle in metal cylinder, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 16%, 50 IBU. Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of sherry, oak, chocolate, honey and juniper. Vinous flavour with the same elements, some fruity acidity. Easy drinking for its strength. Excellent beer, but hardly worth the outrageous price.

Så og si svart med en anelse rødskjær. Lukter Mørke stenfrukter, rosiner, trevirke. Myk og behagelig i munnfølelse. Fyldig. Smak av mørke stenfrukter, sjokolade, kirsebær. Kjenner alkoholvarmen godt. Nydelig:-) Dark night 2022

100ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri, Nøgne Ø TTO. A few bubbles on the surface of a black body with a deep ruby shade, scattered lacing. Attractive on the aromas with dark malts and dark berries. Powerful and balanced taste of chocolate, sherry, and kveik yeast. Oaky. Long-lived, rounded finish with a lingering sherry touch. Warming down the swallow. Much appreciated. (Tromsø 29.10.2022).
