Kellerbier is a classic lager style from the south of Germany. It's typically connected with Franconia where the beer was matured in the cellars underneath the hills. The way to drink it the most fresh, people started beer gardens on top of these cellars to enjoy the beer right there. More hoppy and still quite malt driven, Kellerbier is a masterpiece in high drinkability.

From Good Times Oakland. No dating on the can. What's interesting is that this is brewed by Urban Chestnut in St. Louis.

It pours mostly clear pale gold with a good head of foam that shrinks quickly, wee bit of lacing.

The smell is grainy, yeasty, hoppy as in grassy with pine notes. There's also a mild sweetness to it.

The taste is yeasty, grainy, has grass and pine, hints of lemon. The sweetness isn't that noticeable in the taste, the finish comes across as earthy.

Interesting beer.

Bready malt and grass/fresh hay aroma. Clear golden yellow with nice white head and moderate effervescence. Moderately sweet biscuit malt, and mildly bitter grass/fresh hay flavor. Good body.
