Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, rich licorice and hops. Light watery palate, but nice and smooth.

Great yulebeer. In fact, excellent considering the 4,5 %. The heaviness and richness in taste is unmatched by any other not so strong beer.

(Bottle - batch #455, brewed 210909 - from K Citymarket Itäkeskus) The beer poured deep reddish brown and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Aroma had roastedness, mildy burntness, bit of coffee and hint of chocolate. Palate was medium bodied and bit dry with quite high carbonation. Flavours were roastedness, burntness, coffee, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter.

A dark brown beer with quite big and beige head. Aroma is interesting, roastiness, citrusfruits, hint of chocolate and some sourness. Flavour is strongly roasted, some grapefruits and pine needles, coffee and nice bitterness. Quite light to drink, but body is strong enough and pleasant. Low alcohol percents, still surprisingly, a lot of aromas and flavour; tastefull and fresh, roasted beer.

Bottle (Batch #543). Pours hazy dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malts, caramel, nuts and spices. Taste is light sweetness and lightly bitter.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours amber with a creamy head and lacings. Nose is yeast, spices and vague roast. Ashy, spicy and dry roasted flavor. Smooth palate. Dry bitter end

Bottle 500ml. @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TTODRBSG10 - Ulfborg.Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark roasted. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, coffee, spicy, light yeasty. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100814]

Bottle, 4.5%. Good roasted aroma, some fruit. Almost clear dark brown colour, red shine. There are hints of yeast, spice, vanilla and tartness. Good combination. The mouthfeel is not great, but OK for ABV.
