Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of barley, caramel and floral hops. Taste is light sweet with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 8.0%. Sourish grain aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Very small head. The flavour is grainy and caramelly. A bit sweet, fruit jam.

Bottle at fonefan tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, syrop, almonds and hops.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear golden, very brief head. Fizzy peach, boozy alcohol and syrup. Sticky and mellow with ill hidden alcohol contents. No bitterness.

Can. Clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Hops, grains and malt in the aroma. Sweet and malty flavor, with hops and grains. Thin to medium mouthfeel. A strong lager, what else to say? (070213)

Can 0,5l. Pale golden coloured. A white head that soon settles. Hard to find aroma - but some faint malt. Sweet flavour soon followed by an aftertaste of alcohol.

Süßer Geruch, die 8% lassen sich nicht erahnen. Der Geschmack ist ebenfalls recht süß und nicht alkoholisch, zusätzlich kommt im mittelteil eine hopfige Note hinzu. Der Abgang, der recht trocken wirkt, ist noch einmal etwas süßer als der vorhergehende Teil. Für 8% sehr mild und gar nicht mal so schlecht. Test vom 8.8.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,9,9,9,7,9 - 8,70

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, fully golden with a small, white head. Malty nose with some alcohol. Surprisingly the body only appears medium with an extreme sweetness. The alcohol is surprisingly well hidden as long as the beer is cold. I fear it warm... (Why don’t we simply call this "Karjala Stong 8.0%). 290106
