It was a no-brainer for us to take our Code d'Or to the next level, by ageing it on a Bourbon barrel. And so we did. We let it rest on a Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrel for a year. The barrel complements the base beer with its vanilla and caramel flavors and gives it a boozy finish. Sticky goodness!

Pours black, no real head. Scent is intense, bourbon, mild booze. Taste is full, thick, BBA boozyness. Thick body, low to no carbo.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2022, Saturday Session. A black beer. Aroma and Taste of sweet strong dark caramelized malt, vanilla, intense bourbon, boozy finish.
