Bottle at home, from an online peddler whom I can't recall, 26/12/2025.
Black topped with a tan head that dissipates to a swirl.
Nose is dark malts, dried fruit rinds, vanilla, chocolate, spice, bourbon rip.
Taste comprises chocolate, coffee bean, maple syrup, molasses, booze tunes, light spice, bourbon soak.
Full bodied, light oily fee, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid BA impy.

Tap at Beerlovers bar. Haha, massive deep brown to black with very dark head. A ton of sugary malts, maple, bourbon, coffee, rye whiskey, more brown sugar, vanilla, booze. It has everything you could want: chocolate, maple, coffee, vanilla and bourbon. Very very sweet, solid boozy. Over the top. Really over the top. But really well made and so tasty... ,,😋😋

Bottle [2024] shared at "ZZT nieuw leven in blazen"-tasting. Opaque pitch black color, virtually no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, vanilla heavily, maple, (Dutch) "hopjesvla", too sweet. Way too sweet for me. Don't like it at all. Not my kind of beer. Bleh.

No head on thick near black coloured body.
Huge aroma of liquorice, demerara & bourbon aroma.
Thick oily body - minimal carbonation & cloying.
Vanilla, liquorice, orange, maple, demerara & sweet tastes with huge boozy finish.
Outstanding

Panda thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, decent bubbly dark tan head. Boozy mildly coffee accentuated nose. Airy palate, remarkably light palate all told. Decent fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, very richly flavoured. Dark malt cream, a little dark chocolate, smooth espresso coffee. Mild maple sweetness, well integrated. Everything blends together very well and some ripe fruits on the back end. The abv shows its teeth on the light and semi dry finish with some alcohol spice but, frankly, this is ridiculously drinkable for a brew well into double digits. Lovely!

Jet black with a dirty tan head. Lots of chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, coffee, coconut. Nice rich boozy finish. Delicious.

Not as good as blend 2… it’s definitely much more sweet and focused on syrup/vanilla ingredients rather than foeder. Beer temple ams
