Hand bottled from Tbone, thanks for sending me this rare gem! Dark amber color. Weird aroma. Spicy with notes of berry and rosebud. Yeast. Very yeasty tart flavor with red berries and beechwood smoke. twigs. Weird attempt to combine a sour ale of lambic with a smoked ale. Very interesting beer, I appreciate the effort, but the balance is gone and the experiment has not totally succeeded.

Tap at SOPP Tampere 2015. Last keg in the world. Colour is murky brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Smoke, fruits and sourness. Very good.

Aroma has some smoke, ash and lactic acid. Flavour is dry with smoky notes, lactic acid, tartness and some ash. Nice one, although it seems that smoke and sourness do not fit completely together. More sourness could fix the problem.

Aroma has leathery smoky tones and some grapefruit-like lambic aromas. Also some sweet candy tones. Flavour has burned wood, grapefruit, acidic tones, some citrus and leathery tones. After five years the smoke and lambic tones still do not talk to each other. But this is still not bad anyway.

Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks oh6gdx for this bottle! Somewhat hazy deep red. Bretty fruity aroma with olives, a bit of malt and hints of smoke. Sour bretty flavor with quite a bit of ashtray smokiness. Medium-bodied. Rounded-mouthfeel. Really good and interesting stuff, thanks a lot Pat for the opportunity to try it!

[Thanks to oh6gdx]. 33cl bottle. Brown colour with an off-white head, nice lacing, medium lasting. Aroma is strong smoky, roasty and fruity. Flavor has a decent smokiness, hints of apple, wood and sourish. The final is also sourish and medium bittery. Carbonation and body are medium.

Flaske 0,33l spandert av Rune og delt under seanse i heimen 16 Jun 11. Veldig uklar. Gjørme-brun på farge. Sterkt krydret med gjær & røykaroma. Smaken tørr røyk & syrlig frukt. Spennende - men ikke noe stort øl.

Bottled. A murky amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes hops, smoke, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of vinegar, wood, brettanomyces, and smoke, leading to a dry finish. Hmm - great try - but I must admit I don’t think it worsk. Thanks dinosaur for the chance to finally drink this beer.

33 cl bottle with an iceberg inside - thanks Paps and oh6gdx. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, smoked and orange fruity to green apples. Smoked, mild citric and light fruity. Lingering smoked and citric finish.

330ml bottle, kindly handed over to me by oh6ghx himself, big thanks! Unclear amber body, faint off-white head. Smoked malts to the nose before the acidity fruits takes over. The taste is a mixed bag of smoked malts and tart fruits added by a spicy touch. Bitter fruity ending. Interesting with some kinds of refreshments to it. Smoked lambic, indeed (shared with Finn at session in Tromsø, 16.06.2011).
