Pours a beautiful dark chestnut brown with a giant smooth head, that took me by surprise, the glass spilled over big time. Looks great. aroma is mostly nuts and perhaps some raisins. flavor is slightly fruity, slightly malty, slightly citrussy, slighlty sweet malty.

Bottle. Pours cola brown with small white head. Aroma is malt, brown sugar, rye bread, apples and grain. Taste is very sweet, faint bitter and light acidic. Body is oily with way too much carbonation. Finish is very sweet with notes of malt and sugar. Not much on the aroma, appearance is too dark for a pale ale (looks more like a brown ale to me), taste is too sweet, mouthfeel has way too much carbonation, and finish is dominated by sweetness and not much else. It does however not have that grainy taste that many NOLO beers have.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a small, lacing off-white head. Nutty, slightly caramellish aroma. Medium body, feels much sttonger and fuller, than it is. Burned caramel, hazelnuts and toffee, but never sweet. Excellent for what it is. TeeDawn has seemingly really stepped up the quality game from their first beers. 150119
