Rye Pale Ale. What a joy to behold! A large portion of rye malt provides a spicy malt profile that backs up the highly aggressive hop aroma and flavor. Chinook hops are the star of the show throughout the brew process, including dry-hopping post fermentation. Joy Rye'd is the big rebel in our craft beer lineup. A: hazy brown, small, foamy, tan head.
A: rye bread, orange peel, dried fig, caramel.
T: sweet dried apple, fig, bitter citrus peel & rye.
F: herbal hops, dried fruit, spicy rye, bitter grapefruit, warming vodka-like alcohol.
P: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.
Rather hefty bitter towards the end. Okay.
