Canned, 500 ml shared with MiroB, kajser27, Luka. Black with beige head. Roasty, chocolate, some bourbon, touch of dried fruit. Sweetish. Some bitterness.

4/9/2023. Can shared by ITFCDan. From Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours black with a small tan coloured head. Aroma is woody, bourbon, roasted malt, dried fruits, liquorice, biscuit, dark chocolate. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness with a light whisky sour edge. Full bodied, very smooth, low carbonation. Boozy bourbon finish. Very nice.

Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Dark chocolate, molasses, oak, black cherry and sweet tobacco aromas. Dark roast coffee, bourbon, dark chocolate, oak, cola, peat, warm spice flavours. Warming alcohol infusion.Top marks!

Can on the train from Bingohame to Worcester, picked up from HOTM 16/02/23. Black with a decent khaki cap. Nose is toffee crisp, chocolate, mellow roast, dried fruit rinds, roasted notes, mellow barrel. Taste comprises ripe bourbon, raisins, dates, figs, chocolate, brown sugar melt, light roast, faint smoke. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid.

440ml can. Pitch black with a tan head. Aroma of dark malts, caramel, bourbon, oak. Taste is pretty well dominated by the bourbon, oak, vanilla, dark malts, caramel, chocolate, warming booze, sweet. Full bodied, smooth. Excellent BA impy.

De color negro intenso y espuma tostada. En nariz se aprecian las notas a maltas torrefactas, madera y frutos secos como la avellana. En boca entra dulce e invita a dar un trago largo pero cuidado con sus 12.5%. Las notas a Bourbon se hacen más presentes pero sin llegar a saturar. Final con cuerpo, sedosa, densa y muy equilibrada en todo su conjunto.

Can at home picked up from BEER:Shop St Albans. A dark black brown oily coloured pour with a loose tan head that fades edgeward. Aroma is nice semi swet, sticky brown suhars, caramel, coconut, warming bourbon, vanilla pods, oak. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sticky toffee pudding , caramel, bounty, waming oaky bourbon, warming alcohol. Palate is full bodied, sticky, moderate carbonation. Good depth. maybe a touch sweet.
