A very special edition of Origin Story with beautiful zesty orange. Elsewhere, this beer is full of rich malts - expect caramel, honey, nuttiness, chocolate, coffee and subtle smokiness all coming through with refined depth. Rich residual sugars balance with oak tannins to keep the beer drinkable, moreish and spectacularly flavoursome.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde.
A: hazy black, small, foamy, beige head.
A: actual 'orangettes', fondant, espresso, prune, brown sugar.
T: sweet prune, fig, orange peel; bitter fondant & coffee.
F: herbal hops, bitter orange peel & fondant, warming brandy-like alcohol.
P: full body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Delicious and well structured, as expected from Siren.

Black beer, decent tan head. Smell is malty with zesty orange. Flavour has bitter orange, dark chocolate, toasty malt, caramel. Like a chocolate orange liqueur with a bit of boozy warmth and some woodiness in the finish. Very very nice, with a rich body and nicely warming, sweet finish.

Lovely stuff. Very smooth. Pretty thick. Loads of milk chocolate, caramel and toffee. Get the orange in the aroma initially but it shines in the taste.
