Bottled. Dark brown colour with a mediumsized foamy beigeish brown head. Aroma is bourbon, wood, vanilla, some espresso, mild cocoa, ashes, roasted tones with some alcohol and mild toffee too. Flavour is espresso coffee, some cocoa, roasted malts, some alcohol, toffee, mild dried fruits with some wooden and slightly spicy tones. I spent a good 3 hours drinking this at the pub.

Big, beastly sugar stout. Nice blend after tasting the single barrel. Hot barrel tone sort of smoothed out by the sugary black base. More depth than it's peers still, a fun beer to sip at.

Bottle shared at annual end of the year Fryslân tasting. Opaque black color, small beige to light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, some roast, bourbon. Nice bourbon and bitterness in the finish. Very solid. Original review text: Bottle at home. Opaque pitch black color, a bit fizzy light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, roast, bourbon, dark malts. Flavor is malts, dark malts heavy bourbon, vanilla, some herbs or spices lightly in the background, liquor bitterness and malt bitterness. Typical ASA, I like it. Very nice!
