A nod to the hop cone & the bearded brethren, we loaded this beer with our favorites and reinforced it with a solid malt base and carmel twist.
A specialty brew. Grab it when you see it.

bomber. Orange-amber with a fine, thick head. Lemony hop nose, caramel, pine. Sweet malt flavor, good hops, pine and citrus. Solid old-school IPA.

A reddish copper ale with a thick lacing off white head. In aroma, a nice herbaceous hops overlaying nice orange pulp, biscuitty malt, quite nice. In mouth, a nutty malt with floral British hops, roasted coffee, lingering bitterness, very nice. Tasted August 6 2011.

Thanks to Moggman for sharing a bottle. The beer is a hazy amber color with a medium ivory white head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium body and moderately bitter with flavors of citrusy hops, caramel malt and a slight floral note. The finish is hoppy with citrus left behind. Pretty good overall, and glad to get to try something from this brewery.

Purchased at Half Acre Brewery in Chicago, IL; enjoyed on a hot, muggy summer night with a good friend. Appearance dark ruby amber with frothy off-white head. Aroma of hops, a bit of spices, like a traditional red ale but slightly hoppier. Taste also like the aroma, traditional red ale just slightly hoppier. It was $10 for this bomber, not sure I would purchase again.
