The Krenkerup Rauch Bier or Smoked beer, is one of our flagship beers and winner of 3 Gold medals in the renowned European Beer Star competition. Complex and sweet, with a very distinct smoky flavor, that is in perfect balance with the rest of the ingredients.

Sample from 0,5 l. bottle. Clear, amber colour with a medium sized off-white head. Smoked aroma with dark fruit and bacon. The flavour is smoked bacon, fruits and caramel malts. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Medium to long lasting smoked finish. Nice try on a style not very common in Denmark.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Hazy amber, no head. Beechwood smokey nose. Mid sweet with clean moutheel and medium body. Nice licorice/bacon smokiness, but rather shallow malt character.
