Aroma: chocolate malts, salted caramel, toffee and mild pistachio. Taste: dark chocolate, toffee and roasted voffee. Smooth sweet mouthfeel. Next one please!

Can from Saveur-Biere.com (26/12/2022) Day 24 / SB Advent Beer Calendar - sweet dark malty with rich chocolate, lots of sticky sweet salted caramel, full bodied with a poly sticky mouthfeel, lingering sweet caramel infused malty finish. Very nice.

Can from Beer Hawk Advent Calendar. Aroma had a big wave of burnt caramel sweetness and a bitter edge. Dark and inky. Beige head soon recedes almost entirely. The salted caramel is certainly there, alongside coffee and malts. Liqourice develops into the finish. So initially sweet before turning to the bitter side. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. It does as described. Decent.

330ml can from Saveur-Biere advent calendar - Dark near solid black body, not much head. Sweet cakey nose, taste has a bit of saltiness to it, very interesting, and ends with Highland Toffee sweetness. Quality shit.

Can from the Beer Hawk Advent Calendar 2022, it's been a good year, 24 new rates for me, and not too much stuff that just tastes of the shit that's been thrown in to flavour it... ahem. Actually, I quite enjoyed this as there was enough porter character underneath the salted caramel and lactose to redeem it.
