Marelica is a mixed fermentation ale brewed with barley, wheat and oats and aged in oak barrels. After several months of barrel-aging with a mixed culture containing Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus, we added French apricot puree and let it age further before bottle conditioning. Marelica presents itself with assertive sourness, relatively low carbonation and a bouquet of refreshing stone fruit aromas.

Dolle 40 years and 20k bash. Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Funky aroma with apricot, wood and malt. Dry and very tart fruity and funky flavour. A bit too sour for my taste, but very clean and well brewed.
