Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours damn brown/black with a dark tan bubbly/creamy head. Aroma is oaky, but more vinous than bourbon. Light sour notes in the aroma. Full bodied. Flavor is dark fruit, oak, vanilla, but I can’t say bourbon, but surely not oversmoked single malt. It’s just very flavorful. Quite whiskey, tho what kind of whiskey? Maybe a light Canadian! Very flavorful in a medium whiskey way. Brilliant.
