The Cheetah Is Faster Dandelion is een nieuw recept voor een dikke, romige RIS. Omdat niet alle mout ineens in de brouwketels paste en het toch zeker een volmout RIS van 11,7% moest worden, werd er dubbel gemaischt. Kost wat tijd en energie, maar dat proef je ook! Gehopt met Citra en Zibi, want hops spelen zeker een grote rol spelen in deze RIS. Leuk zijn ook de 24 verschillende etiketten.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een pikzwart bier met een medium beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en een hint rook. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, koffie en chocolade.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, mid sized beige head. Aroma of tobacco and licorice with a whiff of orange. Mid sweet with full body and soft, chewy mouthfeel. Earthy licorice and tobacco, mild tangerine. Balanced bitter finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted, some mild chocolaty tones with some mild dried fruity tones. Flavour is roasted malts, some chocolaty tones with mild dried fruits and some alcohol and quite strong fruity and floral bitterness to it. Almost like an imperial Cascadian dark....

ABV: 11.7%. ✅ Clear dark dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark fruit, woody, alcohol, moderate chocolate nad coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark fruit - plum, prune, dark malt, sweet malt, roasted, chocolate - coffee, medium dry. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20240322]

Bottle. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee\. Taste: Very dense and smooth mouthfeel. Roasted malt, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, licorice. Earthy. Lightly citrus hop at the background. Lightly boozy. Full body, below average carbonation. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness going towards medium at dry finish. Another very nice Imperial tout from Goede Kant van het Spoor. Great brewery, great beer.

A pretty decent imperial stout. Some toastyness, light bitter and a bit of earthy hops. Bit of chocolate. Bot too thick, but decent.
