Black Tuesday - Cognac Barrel-Aged
This version of Black Tuesday spent 18 months developing in choice cognac barrels— a rare find, so of course, we had to do something special with them. Pouring a dark black with an almost purple-ish hue, the nose is greeted with aromas of grape and hints of candied fruit. The palate is unmistakably Black Tuesday, with bold notes of dark fruits, rich chocolate, and crème brûlée that are complemented by notes of savory caramel, vanilla, and honey from the barrel.

Pitch black color with off white head. Massive nose of roasted malt, stewed apricots, oak, dark chocolate and molasses. Alcohol is noticeable. The palate is off-sweet, lots of barrel character, lots of stout notes, modestly tart. Alcohol is noticable. Warming long finish of cognac, oak and dark chocolate. Wonderful stuff.
