A West Coast IPA aged on cedar wood. It has clear flavors of grapefruit and the darker malt base adds notes of caramel and pine resin, while the cedar gives the beer complexity with notes of white pepper, spices and lemon peel.

From tap at In De Blaauwe Hand, Nijmegen. Strong bitter hop with malt, ripe fruit, orange, grapefruit, pine resin. Long bitter finish, some sweetness. Medium body. Classic C-hop aroma, rather bitter.

0,3l on tap @ Barley & Bait. Pours clear golden with a medium head. Aroma is bitter malts with some pine. Flavor is bitter malts, pine, citrus, hops. Quite nice.

A: hazy dark orange, small, off-white head.
A: grapefruit peel, blood orange, mango, toasted onion.
T: sweetish mango, bitter grapefruit, biscuit, pine.
F: resinous hops, bitter grapefruit pith, tonic.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Classic IPA, bit too harsh perhaps.

Rated at Barski Helsinki. Caramely malty, piney and resinous with some gooseberries, bitter grassy hops and hints of oaky cedar notes. Old skool.

Keg @ Barski, Helsinki. Poured clear and amber in color. Malts, wood, chestnuts and vanilla sweetness. Light bitterness.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber with a roughish, off-white head. Spicy, piney hops - not much cedar impact. Medium body, an initial sweet caramel note before ecerything is buried in a assive - almost astringent - bitterness. But again, the cedar is not really obvious. One for IBU lovers. 050723

Gylden brun klar med beige skum. Lukter skog, barnål, karamell og noe stenfrukt. Fyldig. Middels bitter. Smaker barnål, karamell, alkohol og stenfrukt. Lang.
