Bottle from yespr, thanks! Malt and brown sugar in the aroma. Sugary sweet flavor with caramel, apple syrup, maltose and some lactic notes. Sticky and unpleasant aftertaste.

Bottle @ Brewery. Pours unclear amber with a off white head. Nose is rye-bread and horse manuer. Sweet cloying and syrupy. Shit in it’s truest sense.

Bottle, 1.8% bought at the brewery. Very malty aroma, some brown sugar. Dark brown colour. Small stable frothy tan head. The flavour is very sweet with a distinct raw liquorice note. Extremely sweet finish. Different from other hvidtøl, but interesting.

Bottled (BB 10/2010)
Dark ruby color, small off-white head. Strong aroma of syrup, malta, rye and cardboard. Sticky full-bodied. Molasses, dark bread, no bitterness. Like drinking syrup, overly sweet. Please, no more ...

Bottle. A clear, copper beer topped by a finger-thick beige head. Malty sweetness and dried fruits on the nose. Something strange and lightly unpleasant too, don’t know what. It’s sweet in the mouth, with a little hoppy bitterness and lots of dried fruits like prunes and peaches. Thin body. Sweet finish with some bitterness and a metallic touch. It’s a low ABV beer, so it’s decent considering that, but it’s not very interesting besides that. After a while it’s almost like drinking fresh wort, only chilled, that’s quite sickening. 100618
