The Manuel Neuer bottle(Sabine, danke!): Pale greenish-golden, a bit unclear, stable and medium-sized creamy head, lazy carbonation, pale-malty to grainy nose with a faint citrussy-strawy hoppy background; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, really creamy MF; short citrussy-malty finish. Nothing wrong with it, just a quite well drinkable mass-market Bier…

(the Schweinsteiger bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Strawy malty and slightly doughy aroma with a tinge of biscuits and metallic hops in the background. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Strawy malt character with doughy spots, traces of cardboard and grassy hops; mildly sweet and delicately bitter finish with slightly grassy notes. Not very special. Too bad Dortmund didn´t make it. 31.X.13

Bottle, 5.5%. Mild papery aroma, not bad, hint of floral aroma hops. Clear shiny yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is malty and papery with a mild floral hop - a lot like the aroma. Low bitterness. Clean and pleasant, but not too flavourful.

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with small white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops with subtle malty touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with estery notes. Paperlike finish. An OK Helles but nothing extraordinary.

Bottle (10 Arjen Robben ;) Golden, fine carbonation, white lacing foam. Light fruity doughy malt aroma with a bit citric hop play. Thinnish, tinny mouthfeel, sulphur notes, grain metallic grassy hops in the finish - something went wrong here....

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and strawy aroma, minimally grassy, herbal hoppy overtones. Taste is dry hoppy, mineral, minimally sweet grainy and pale malty, bready. Minimally light and watery, therefore quite drinkable. OK.

0.5l bottle. Clear golden body, white head. Aroma of bread and floral hops. Taste of bread, grains and some floral hops in the finish. Easy to drink. Nice one.

50 cl from a local Rewe. Brotiger Antrunk, mild-flach. LEicht neutral, etwas metallisch. Der Hauptteil ist vollmundig, etwas neutral. Im Nachgeschmack mittellang, vollmundig, etwas brotig. Süffig. --> nice, but nothing really special. Good session-beer, but not more. 8/7/7/7
