Bottle from Fonefan, thanks! Almost black and opague. Roast, cream and dark chocolate in the aroma. Medium to full bodied. Creamy roasty flavor with dried fruit and lots of dark chocolate. Well balanced porter, not too sweet and full of flavor.

Bottle @ Jesperhus Camping. Pours hazy dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, light expresso sourness, little caramel, light chocolate. Flavor is light sweet, malty, light caramel, coffee, roast, dark chocolate. Medium body, average carbonation, dry finish. 221016

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, hop, licorice. Flavour is roasted malt, hop, coffee, dried fruit. Nearly full body. Nice beer.

Appearance: Black color with a fine beige head.
Aroma: Chocolate, roasted malt and coffee.
Palate: Medium + body. Mild sweetness, and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Chocolate, coffee, mild roasted malt and a bit acidic.
Overall impression: Tasty porter.

Bottle. It pours a dark brown body, looking quite clear, with a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma has quite a lot of licorice, with roasted malts, some dried fruits and a touch of smoke. A faint sourish smoke note is a bit annoying, but if I don’t dip my nose too deep into the glass I don’t sense it. Licorice, roasted malts, dark chocolate and some smoke in the flavor too. Pleasant carbonation level and quite full-bodied. Some bitterness chimes in towards the finish. Overall, it’s a pleasant and tasteful beer I wouldn’t hesitate to repeat. 131026

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, coffee and hint of smoke. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate, coffee and licorice finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Flaske på hytta, delt med Einar: opp fra det cremede skummet stiger en liflig aroma af nybrænt kaffe og mørk kvalitetssjokolade. Smagen er i samme gade, dog med en slankere mundfølelse. Ret god.
