Can @ Dinøl, Odense. Pours Black with a small fading creamy beige head. Low carbonation. Thick and viscious with notes of chocolate, maple, Wood and coffee. Some Dark fruit and berries in there somehow. Slick and oily with a quaffing sensation. Dangerous word to Mother.

Can picked up at the Himmeriget Wren takeover and shared at home (21/10/2021) - black with no discernible head. Dark sweet and roasted malty with lots of chocolate, caramel and maple, brown sugar, light berry fruity accents, complex layered up bourbon throughout, lingering spiced dark malty finish. A real beast, gorgeous.

Sample during the It's Beignet while, so Parrish the Thought of Deserting Oil of Us for this Road Trip Tasting on 06/26/2021. Flat black pour with a medium beige head that recedes gradually to a film. Patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, malt and dark fruit. Full body with flavors of oaky bourbon, roast malt and dark fruit. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer overall.

Pint can pours with an inky black colored body that supports no head at all. The aroma offers up sweet malts and molasses kissed by soft bourbon, vanilla and then a bit of booze. The taste delivers smooth slick rich dark roasted malts sweetened by molasses and then moving into a spicy whiskey sensation. To midway the flavor complexity moves up another notch as vanilla and more barrel character is noticed. It ends with a lingering supple bourbon whiskey mingling with slick sweet reduced sugars and booze. Great sipper.
