Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren. Muddy brownish coloured, small beige head, wet wood and dried fruits in the nose. Wet wood, weak chocolate, caramel and dried fruits with notes of vanilla. Light alcohol, sweet finish.

0.33l bottle. Murky brown body, tiny off-white head, fleeting. Heaps of dates, dried fruit generally, woody notes, brown sugar. Lean, dry woody taste, vanilla, huge raisins, bit minerally, light light bitterness, not unpleasant. Quite okay, but not more. But 16 months past its BB date, so there you go.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Murky brown, small tan head. Aroma is caramel, milk chocolate, hints of dried fruit and wood. Alcohol intensely present. Medium body. Sweet, caramely, malty, wood, dried fruit, astringent. Soft carbonation, some wood in the finish. Some astringency lingering. Not very rich.

Bottle @ Brdr. Schmidt, Viby Centeret. Pours clear amber with a tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, wood, light spice, light whisky. Flavor is light bitter, malty, caramel, bread, light wood, whisky. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish with light warming alcohol. 030922

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is cinnamon, some sweet malts, mild wooden and some mild alcohol. Flavour is cinnamon, some sweet malts, mild dried fruits with some vanilla tones. Lovely dry palate. Fermented lovely dry.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy and almost opaque nutty brown with a small, off-white head. Odd gingery nose with some ethanol. Medium body, slightly nutty, dry caramel - everything is dry and again there's this odd spiciness. Very bitter finish. Nothing at all what you'd expect from a Barley Wine. 240323

ABV: 9.5%. ✅ Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, bourbon, oak, wood - perfume. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, bourbon - vanilla, caramel, wood - perfume, resin, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20221015]
