Clear pale amber colour, one finger frothy white head, recedes quite quickly to a thin layer, fair lacing. Sweet malty aroma, bread, light caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter, bit alcoholic. Medium body, oily texture; finish malty sweetbitter.

0,5 l bottle. The german comercial descriptions tells the clear glass bottle emphasizes contemporary design. Strange in my opinion. Dark golden, nearly amber in the glass with a mighty but not long living head. Dusty malty on a low level on the nose. Starts with ... first not a lot. Later malt, dry, hints of alcohol, nuts, butter. Striking but ambivalent. Finishes with more grainy notes and alcoholic. Wins a little bit towards the end.

500ml Bottle: BBD Nov 2013. Drank in my Berlin hotel room on 25 Feb 2013. Golden brown, clear and clean: no head. Even though it was poured three times into a small tumbler I couldn’t get it to produce any form of covering. This beer looked like and tasted like a fizzy malt drink: I wasn’t impressed at all. Really pop like, couldn’t even get any of the 6% ABV feel. Strange sweet brew that must be produced for the younger crowd or something, not hardened beer drinkers. I’ll not be seeking this out again.

20/11 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks! It poured copper body with smaller head. Stinky aroma of vegetables and eggs. Crappy flavor as well, weak, watery, yet alcoholic and sweet rotten malty with warming, luckily short finish. No need for conclusion...

Brought to the tasting by ogivlado and shared with heavy and me, probably found in Berlin. Poured a dark golden body with a tiny white head. Oily grainy malty nose, ok. Light soft malty taste ending in rough bitterness, vegetable notes, vague alcohol, somewhat soapy. Useless.

[10/1/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Bottle brought from Finsterwalde, drunk at the venue in Flensburg. Aroma has some decent noble hops. A pretty dry flavor with light sweetness and some rather herbal hops bitterness. Quite alright.
