Bottle shared at a Sour/Wild tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks fonefan for this bottle. Murky deep orange. Funky aroma of oak, fruits, lacto, some leather and a caramelly touch. Sour flavor, funky, with barnyard, yogurt, lemon and a bit of caramel. Rounded mouthfeel. Really good.

Bottled (huge thanks to KimJohansen!). Hazy ambery brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is pleasant sour wood (brett), with some malts, mild caramel as well. Really beautifully balanced. Flavour is sour wood, caramel malts, rather tart with some slight acidic notes. Brutally lovely sour ale.

Murky dark amber color, small off-white head. Nice bretta nose with fruity and sweet notes in the background. Medium-bodied. Front has strange herbal flavor, then lots of bretta. Sour but suprisingly easy to drink. When warms up, light earthy/woody notes. Simple wild ale but good.

Entered to celebrate my rating number 18,600. Bottled. A clear amber beer until the bottom of the bottle is poured, which turns it murky, under a thin light tan head. The aroma has notes of citrus, dust, brettanomyces, caramel, malt, and fruits. The flavor is sour - so sour that it is felt in the cheeks and with notes of dust, brettanomyces, malt, caramel, fresh lemon, and other fruits leaning on being over ripe, leading to a dry, but mostly tart finish. The acidity burns slightly in the throat. Huge thanks to Thomas for this beer.

Bottle. A hazy, dark orange-golden beer topped by a small, beige head leaving some lacings. The lacto is quite evident in the aroma, still with a good dash of brett. Berries and ripe melon, tending towards wild strawberries. Sweat horse-blanket and some maltyness too. The flavor isn’t as dry as expected, still quite sour. Berries and some lemon. Medium body, dry and decently carbonated. Lemony finish with berries. Nice, not übernice. 100423

Bottle 330ml. @ home.[ Trade by KimJohansen ]. Unclear medium red orange color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sour berry, wood, brett, lacto. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091020]
