"Dingslebener Bock", Flasche von REWE, Arnstadt, 4.8.2026. - Rotgold, blank. - In der Nase bocktypisch fettes karamelliges Malz mit Sirupsüße, Trockenobst und recht rauhe Hopfung - ein Industriebier halt. - Antrunk füllig karamelmalzig aber nicht wie erwartet klebrig süß sondern fruchtig (Aprikose) mit zarter herb-säuerlicher Note, die wohl so beabsichtigt ist (MHD: 04/27) und nach und nach eine limonadige Süße Süße preisgibt, die sich an leisen rauchigen Noten reibt. Milder rezent, nicht vollmundig. Im Abgang aromatisch vage, muffige Herbe. - Origineller aber nicht überzeugender Bock, dessen Malzkörper durch prominente Frucht mit zartem Süßsauer sozusagen limonadenartig aufgelockert ist. Verzichtbar.

Bottle. pale amber color. Malt and hints of apricot in the aroma. Medium to full bodied. malty sweet flavor, slightly perfumed, with floral notes and apricot. Sticky mouthfeel.

Bottle. Clear amber colour. Moderate white head. Intense honey melon malts on nose medium body. Taste: big sweet maltiness. After that stale hops. Light bitterness.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts strong-malty, quite sweet. Fruity hints of peaches. Finish a bit alcoholic, less sweet, woody notes. Could be more balanced.

Slightly hazy honey golden color, small off-white head. Perfumic, sweetish aroma. Medium to full bodied. Herbal hoppyness, sweet alcoholic. Fruityness. Reasonably malty and sweetish bock.

Bottled (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour, big beige foamy head, that leaves nice lace. Aroma is bready malts, some sweet malts as well as some mild notes of liquorice and grassyness. Flavour is being quite much the same with a rather dry bitery finish. Quite different Bock from the very traditional ones.

Bottle 50cl.[ Trade by Koelschtrinker ]. Clear medium yellow amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, molasses, keller, apple, toffee, sugar. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081018]

Angenehm würziger Antrunk. Vorerst mild wird der Bock schnell mit malziger Unterstützung kräftiger und sogar minimal alkoholisch. Im Mittelteil auch etwas kräuterartig, das Aroma ist klar auf die frische Würzigkeit konzentriert. Zum Ende hin etwas karamellig, weniger malzig, dafür deutlich hopfiger. Spritziger Bock! (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear, deep golden with a rough, white head. Clean and very malty nose, Good, solid malt base with very sweet, clean malts with a whiff of flowers. Very subdued bitterness. A very mild and smooth Heller Bock. 120108
