Bottle from Quack-Duck. Blonde. Floral maltaroma with hints of boiled milk. Hay-like hopbitter flavor. Almost oily bitter aftertaste. Loads of flavor in this helles.

Bottle bought at the brewery. Looks very simple. Beer in the glass not too zippy, small head. Starts mild, boring-malty, dry background. Light moldy. Boring beer!

Ein obergäriges Bier. Farbe hellgelb, würzig-süßlicher Geruch. Der Antrunk ist mild und angenehm süffig-hopfenaromatisch. Zum Hauptteil kommt ein Bisschen Würzigkeit hinzu, dazu eine dezente, gut angepasste Herbe. Der Nachgeschmack ist mild-weich, leicht würzig-süßlich und angenehm hopfig – sowohl herb als auch aromatisch! --> Ein sehr leckeres Bier! Sehr zu empfehlen!! [Es hat viel von einem Kölsch – aber vielleicht ist das auch nur Einbildung... vielleicht soll es das gar nicht sein...] (Test vom 24.11.2009) --> 12,12,13,12,12,12 - 12,15

0,33 l bottle. Pours very clear and yellow golden, fine white head, medium fizzy. Looks good. Starts grainy with sour notes, maybe a little bit metallic. Light hops and some citrus fruits. End with medium lasting light bitterness.

22/01 0.33 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured lighter golden body with no head at all! Grainy and slightly lemony aroma. Slightly buttery and flowery flavor, mostly malty only with a little bit of herbal to lemony hops. Quite boring, although nothing wrong in it. Thinner bodied, with shorter, slightly bitter herbal and eggy finish. Weak and uninteresting. This was Kolsch? Nice to know...blah.

Bottled 330ml. -Pale golden coloured, almost no head, dry dusty nose. Malty, bready and slight herbal with faint fruity notes. Touch of honey in rather dry finish. Let’s say (below) average beer.

Bottle courtesy of ogivlado who shared it with heavy and me. Poured a yellow-golden body with a white head. Light eggy lemony and yeasty nose. Empty sweetish but dry taste, vague (something), pleasant lemony notes and cardboard. The notes end with a "LOL", guess I didn’t like it much..

Bottle: Clear, golden, small white foamy layer; sweetish grainy-strawy nose with a subtle fruitiness underneath; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, soft; sourish traces in the sweetish-bitter finish. Bottled Kölsch sucks......
