Yes, an eisbock went into bourbon barrels, which were becoming a part of our sour program with all kinds of yeast and bacteria. Along the way we added some dates and dried cranberries, just for the fun of it..resulting in a beer with an abundantly complex profile containing wood, vanilla, balsamic sourness, dried fruits both in sweetness and aroma, some toffee caramels, pleasant warming alcohol

Erstaunlich säuerlicher Beginn. Der Alkohol ist keinesfalls erkennbar, die Säure erstaunlich stark, sehr milde Herbe. Beerig, langer Abgang, schwierig. 10/8/10/8/8/8

Bottle, 330 ml at Goblet. Brown with amber haze, small beige head. Malty, caramel, dark fruit, cherries, dried fruit, nice sourness, wood. Medium+ bodied. Liked it.

Bottle, courtesy of Iznogud, Werckmeister and Miro B. Hazy brownish body with not much head. Bretty, minty aroma, saliva, some maltiness, raisins. Lean, dry taste, nice malty touches, dry fruit . but dried out very much - wild, tart, saliva notes. Brett's the main point I guess. Very well hidden alcohol. Hrabren's spot on with aging potential I guess, will rerate it at some point.

Shared from bottle at Goblet in Zagreb, thanks. Brown color, no head. smells funky, tobacco, infection, berry notes, nutty. Decent to nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes berry notes, acidic, Balsamic, peppery, currant notes. finishes rather dry and medium sour with notes of Balsamic, current notes and peppery notes. Ok not totally my thing

0.33 l bottle shared with Ogi at Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Unclear dark amber, purple hue. Minimal head. Aroma is dried fruit at first, sour cherry, caramel, berries, funky all the way, toasty. Spicy phenols. Nice oak presence. Medium body, sharp oaky and phenolic, tannic, very sour, very dry. Oily. Puckering. Vinegar. Mouth coating. Drinkable. Lasting finish. Aging potential.

Bottled 330ml. -at Goblet Zagreb, shared with hrabren. Dark amber coloured, no head at all, caramel and alcohol in the nose. Moderate malty, caramel, dried fruits, notes of spices and tannins with touch of wood in the finish.
