Bottle picked up from Foeders online, Maastricht, Netherlands and consumed at home Wednesday 15th March 2023 listening to 6Music, we had Toad in the Hole for tea tonight. Pours murky dark brown, there is a dirty off white tinged brown coloured head. Smoky on the nose but also some fruitiness, similar in the mouth, it’s a little fruity, you can pick up a little wordiness from the barrel ageing is noted, soft in the mouth, some hedgerow berries, not bad at all.

@ Gist. Dark brown colour, thin layer of foam. Very roasty along with notes of berries, dry, bitter and a bit harsh. Not very well balanced. Unusual.
