Cloudy deep yellow beer, nice creamy and a bit irregular white head, little stable, crackles down quickly, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity up front, lots of pineapple, tropical fruits, juicy, hint of banana, mango, some passion fruits, some overripe fruits, sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, gentle bitterness, a bit sourish, lots of sweet lychee, some oranges and orange peel. Aftertaste: bitter and pretty dry, a bit resinous, soapy bitterness, hoppy, pine, more long lasting bitterness, some orange peel, rather oxidized, nog very good, pretty disappointing, this is not the Frau Gruber that I got to know when I first discovered them a few years back.
