This limited bottling of Innis & Gunn has been finished over oak infused with Caribbean Spiced Rum. The result is absolutely delicious, bursting with the flavours of Caribbean spices along with our signature notes of vanilla, toffee and oak.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. Bubbly off-white head that stayed well and left fragile lacing behind. Bright amber coloured body. Oak vanilla on the nose, notes of nuts and rum as well. Vanilla ice cream taste alongside hints of ripe fruit and wood, spiced with cinnamon. Herbal hops to the aftertaste, bittersweet. Soft carbonated. Surprisingly easy to drink. I like drinking a bottle of the Innis & Gunn’s beers now and then (at home in Tromsø, 28.09.2013).

Clear amber beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate, a little soft. Mild minerally carbonation. Fresh malt cream with a trace of wood. Not really getting much rum. Mild citrus. It’s inoffensive but overall a bit of a disappointment.

Bottle at home. The colour is golden amber with a medium light beige head. Pretty carbonated. Aroma with lots of caramel, vanilla bean, oak, brown sugar, rum and tequila. The flavour is much alike but is more sweet with still a lot of caramel, oak and fudge. A touch of cinnamon. Has a slick and sticky mouth feel, and a light bitterness. Sweet and balanced strong English ale with a nice touch of rum.
