Our latest collaboration beer is with Huddersfield institution Dixons makers of unique and delicious ‘Milk Ices’ since 1961. In homage to this favourite local treat we use Golden Promise, Crystal and Carafa malts to add light maltiness and colour and Pinhead Oats and Oat Malt are then used to give a smooth and velvety body. We then added Lactose milk sugar before fermentation and a little premium Madagascan Vanilla for a nostalgically sweet and milky flavour. Just like the Milk Ice, it’s a Taste of Its Own!

Gravity cask @ In De Wildeman. Black coloured. Frothy beige head with little retention. Aroma's: roasty, light chocolate and lactose. Retronasal it's full on milk chocolate/chocolate milk, roasty, light red fruit and lactose. Flavor is sweet, chocolate. Light bodied. Low carbonation. Short finish. Nice in a guilty pleasure kind of way.

1/XII/18 - on tap @ Billie's Beer Festival Day 2 (Antwerp), BB: n/a - (2018-1905) Thanks to the RateBeer crew for sharing today's beers!

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige solid head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, quite some coffee, grains, hay, more coffee. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet and sugary, mocha, coffee, malty, grains, caramel. Aftertaste: malty, hay, cow fodder, caramel, mocha, soft bitterness. Too much coffee for my liking.
