Bottle from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light bread and toffee. Taste has faint dried herbs. Sweet finish.

500ml bottle. Clear gold with white top, modest retention. Aroma of cereals, hay, citrus, light spice. Taste is overly sweet but underlying that is a decent malt, grass, spice and hint of fruit. Medium bodied, slick, moderate carbonation. Not the best.

Draft 33 @Johannes Keller im Priesterhaus, Salzburg. Draft poured into a shaker, Clear pale golden colour, fair frothy white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, light grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and only slightly bitter, malty, grain, straw. Light to medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, light sweetbitter aftertaste, okay.

Tap in Friesach. Bright golden color average white head. Flavor of starchy lager malts, white bread, grass, leaves. Taste oddly juicy, sugary cleaned up by moderate tartness. Texture is dense although body feels light. Finish clean, short. In the average of the area.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger, schwach hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, leicht hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bereits vor einigen Jahren einmal getrunken und jetzt im Rahmen der heimischen Wohnzimmer-Bierreise wieder gehabt. Damals hat es mich nicht sonderlich begeistert, aber jetzt muss ich sagen, dass es wirklich nicht schlecht ist. Es ist natürlich kein wirkliches Märzen, sondern ein klassisches lulu-farbenes Helles, das den Balanceakt zwischen Süffigkeit und Spritzigkeit schaffen. Der vollmundige Getreidegeschmack mit den leichten Malzaromen erfreut im Abgang noch mit brotigen Grasnoten. Echt nicht übel.
