Unser traditionelles naturtrübes Zwicklbier überzeugt durch seine helle Honigfarbe, seine feine Hefetrübung und eine stabile, feinporige Schaumkrone in edlem Weiß. Weiche Malzaromen, durchsetzt mit blumigen Hopfentönen, sorgen für einen vollendeten Trinkgenuss. Diese unfiltrierte und naturbelassene Bierspezialität wird übrigens direkt aus dem Lagertank abgefüllt. Der volle und weiche Körper weiß mit einem ausgewogenen Verhältnis von milder Süße und einer samtig-weichen Hopfenbittere zu gefallen. Diese Bierspezialität wird nach einer langen und kalten Lagerung unfiltriert und naturbelassen direkt aus dem Lagertank abgefüllt. Der Name „Zwickel“ kommt übrigens vom Zwickelhahn, dem Probenahmehahn, aus dem der Braumeister Bierproben aus den Lagertanks entnehmen kann, um Qualität und Reifegrad zu prüfen.

Bottle, 0.5l. Cloudy golden pour, two finger frothy white head, short lasting, broken lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, clean and crisp, bready and grainy notes, slightly floral.

Light body, soft carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, lightweight, slightly watery, easily drinkable. Quite smooth. Nicely balanced bittersweet taste. Aroma of malt, grains, bread. Grassy, hay, light spice. Floral, hints of honey. Short to medium lasting finish, herbal, mild lingering bitterness.

Good.

50 cl bottle from Ferro. Golden color, clear at first hazed once bottle is all poured, bubbly white head, smell of malts and yeast. Flavor is very bready, malty, grains backed with grassy notes and an hint of citrus, light floral. Taste is juicy sugary balanced by a moderate sourness, while bitterness is very subtle. Sticky yeasty finish with a spiced note of vanilla and honey. Nice and well balanced, easy to drink, ok.

On tap at Valhalla Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, small white head, light grainy nose. Sweetish malty, grainy, notes of hay and honey with sweetish finish. Ordinary and boring.

Bottle. Blonde. Floral soft hopbitter flavor. Bready with hints of citrus and pear. Also some floral notes in the aroma. Pleasant to drink.

Draught @ The Brewery. Pours hazy dark yellow with a creamy white head. Aroma of malt, little grain, yeast, grass, flowers. Flavor is light sweet, malt, grain, grass, flowers. Medium body, average carbonation. 150717

Draught at the brewery. Cloudy, yellow to gold colored. AROMA- yeasty. FLAVOR- lightly bitter, lightly sour, yeasty, malty. Medium bodied.
Tasty young beer.

500ml Flasche. Leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, getreidig, hopfig. Geschmack getreidig hopfig, leicht säuerlich.

Aroma has toffee, hay and some grainy malt. Flavour has herbal notes, some grass, grainy notes and hints of toffee. Great Zwickel!
