Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. Hazy deep golden, rocky head. Fruity nose with some apple tartness. Dryish with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Fruity and slightly tart, notes of dough and peach. Low-medium bitterness. The apple tartness does not appeal to me at all.

Had this as Pottensteiner Schlüggla. Botle looks a bit complex, but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest sweet-malty, not very dry. Finish still mild, modest sourish-moldy. Should be more spicy.

10/8/8/7/12/8

Bottle (thanx to Joss!): Deep golden, a bit unclear, persistent foamy layer; bisquity-grainy nose with a solid herbal-hoppy background; moderate to solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, a bit fizzy, quite unusual in Franconia; dryish lingering herbal hoppy and delicate bisquity finish. Decent franconian stuff......

Bottled (from bierzwerg wie als Pottensteiner Schlüggla). Sweet malts, saltwater, some grains and quite herbal notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some grains, herbs and rather salty when drinking. Even strangely salty in the flavour.
