Wagner-Bräu Kemmern Festbier, 5,5 %, Flasche (MHD: 23.02.24) von den Getränkerittern. - Satt goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase strenge, leicht muffige Noten. - Antrunk sortentypisch satt gerstig-hellmalzig mit feiner Honigsüße, die aber von kräftiger, ja derber orangenschalig-krautiger Hopfung erschlagen wird. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang derbe, leicht ranzige Bittere. - Ruppiges Festbier mit vulgärer Bittere, kein Vergleich mit dem Camerin Festbier, das ich 2018 getrunken habe. Was mag hier schiefgelaufen sein? (9.9.2023.)

Bottle. Deep golden color. Cake dough and a hint of plum in the aroma. Medium to full bodied. Malty sweetish grassy bready flavor. Grassy finish. Fluid bread with just enough hops to be able to enjoy this beer.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, würzig. Geschmack würzig malzig, leicht fruchtig, minimale Bitterkeit.

Bottle: Golden, a bit unclear, stable white foamy layer, moderate to distinctive sweetish-grainy nose with a slight sourish-strawy touch; medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; grainy-malty flavours in the slightly lingering bitter-sweet finish. A robust, simple brew, all in all disappointing......
